But if money is not a problem,, then you can opt for a silk or pure wool carpet. This is the most expensive category in this field. They are softest, most beautiful and comfortable flooring anybody can have in their home. But they are not very easy to maintain as silk is a delicate fabric.

While choosing a carpet for a particular room, homeowners must evaluate their lifestyle, budget and requirements. They should first evaluate the style and color of the walls of the room. The amount of sun shine in the room is also a deciding factor. Color of the rugs is the most important factor to decide while carpeting a room. It is the first thing that anybody notices in a carpet and if it is wrong, then the entire look of the room may be ruined. 

If you are decorating a room that doesn't get a lot of sunlight, then never use a dark colored rug. This will make the room even darker and you will end with a space that looks like a jail cell. Similarly, a big room that gets a lot of sunlight should have darker colored rug. This will give the required depth to the room.

While carpeting living rooms or any such space that is used a lot, a darker or earthy shades Are better. Light colored carpets will look stained and gather dirt sooner. This type of flooring let's you give a completely new look to your house without having it completely ripped apart.
